Michelle McKiddy is the Founder and Executive Director of The Vine Project. Through more than 15 years in education and service with various organizations, Michelle repeatedly witnessed young people approaching adulthood without the consistent relationships and practical support they needed. The Vine Project grew from those experiences and her deeply rooted belief that no one should have to navigate life’s hardest seasons alone.

Michelle is a TBRI® Practitioner and holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and a master’s degree from The University of Texas at Arlington. Her work combines an understanding of vulnerable young people with a practical, relationship-centered approach to support.

A lifelong North Texan, Michelle is a wife to Chris and mother to Hayden. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, being outdoors, and serving her community.

Misty Geary serves as the Director of Programs for The Vine Project, bringing years of experience in employment services, community outreach, and supporting individuals facing barriers to independence. She is passionate about connecting people to practical resources, meaningful opportunities, and relationships that help them move forward.

Misty holds a Bachelor of Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington and is deeply involved in the Azle community. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Community Caring Center and has volunteered with Our Father’s Children for more than a decade, supporting children and young people who have experienced foster care.

Having called Azle home throughout much of her life, Misty is a wife to Brandon and mom to Barak, Kana and Kellie. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, serving through her church and community, traveling, and bringing people together.
